And these public transport runs throughout the year on the south coast of Playa De Palma. Public transport in this resort is called as Empresa Municipal De Transports De Palma De Majorca. Majorca A Welcome Destination.

As discussed before in the other contents, bus timings and prices change accordingly and have to check it locally when you are in the resort.

Experiences from previous travellers say that it is not possible to find out where one resort end and some other one begins. It’s like a mystery yet, even if local council thinks about it at all. Playa De Palma.

Resort Whereabouts

The three resorts are connected by a broad pedestrian mall, which is entirely flat and ideal for people with walking difficulties, or folks with young children in Prams or wheelchairs.

Instead, if you don’t go for the walk between the resorts, a popular Mini Train runs on the promenade which is also a convenient means to go about.

If it is the first time if you are moving to the resort of Playa De Palma, then you need to aware that it is most popular for young German 18-30’s which is definitely not desirable for families with young children and someone who is looking for nice and calm holiday.

I suffer to say at this point that El Arenal is possibly my least favourite of all the resorts on Majorca, and the township itself holds a very strong German influence, with many of the numerous bars and restaurants only targeting the German tourist.

Here in this resort, we would just see anyone who spend British euro. This still could cause inconvenience in such location to shop or stay in. And we marvel how much longer Playa de Palma will be capable to hold out this German invasion.

On the plus side, the beach at Playa de Palma is very popular and shelves gently into the sea and has the internationally recognized blue flag for its facilities, cleanliness, and water quality. Along the other end, we find the litter problem in this refuge.

Lastly, one feature of this stretch of coastline which you cannot fail to miss, is the 15 or so “Balnearios” which cover the full length of the resort.

These Balnearios are small beach huts which usually have toilets, showers and a kiosk selling cold beverages and bites.

Balnearios will definitely help you to guide once you off from holiday in someone else trip.
